Why use LOGICO for Teaching?

LOGICO is widely used by educators throughout the whole world for increased numeracy and literacy skills and concentration.

The LOGICO program consists of 2 levels targeting specific but overlapping age groups and ability levels: LOGICO Primo (ages 3-6 years) and LOGICO Piccolo (ages 5-9 years). Each version contains an answer frame and a series of topics with 16 corresponding learning cards. Students work through each topic, card by card. As the difficulty level increases so does the amount of text and number of questions per card.

The learning cards are categorised in a variety of topics across the curriculum, which are intended to assist children in developing their abilities in observation, comparison, analysis and reasoning. Content covers skills such as colour and shape recognition, logical thinking and reasoning, spatial and geometrical skills, mathematical concepts and operations, problem solving and literacy development.

The structure of the program enables teachers to differentiate tasks easily according to individual needs. Cards can be used to introduce new concepts than students methodically work through the cards to practice and consolidate skills as required. Students requiring extension can challenge themselves using the more difficult version.
